Trustworthy Professions
* The following comments were taken from the February 22, 2024 issue of The Kiplinger Letter.
“CAREERS: When it comes to the country’s most trustworthy professions, Nurses top the list with 78% of Americans rating nurses’ honesty and ethics as “very high” or “high” in a new Gallup poll. Other professions topping the list are veterinarians, engineers, dentists and medical doctors. However, public opinion has soured for almost all jobs that the Gallup measures. Since 2019, medical doctors, pharmacists, police officers, bankers and journalists suffered the biggest public opinion declines, all dropping nine percentage points. No profession fared worse than member of Congress, earning the respect of only 6% of Americans…a bit worse than car salespeople and advertising pros.”
* What are we going to do about that? Remember: Dracula Fears Sunlight…Wolf Man fears a full moon…Frankenstein fears fire…POLITICIANS FEAR VOTES!
