When we don’t understand what Common Sense is (i.e., our current definition for Common Sense is a degrading collection of words), and we suffer from civic ignorance (i.e., we don’t understand how government works or how it should work…registered voters don’t vote…we don’t know what or who we vote for…George Santos! ): this is what we get:
A dysfunctional government…a dysfunctional election system…a dysfunctional foreign policy…a dysfunctional immigration policy…a dysfunctional criminal justice system…a dysfunctional taxation system…a dysfunctional legal system…a mediocre education system…inadequate gun control…corruption and immorality everywhere…we value profit over people…we support abuses of power…we tolerate racism…a crumbling infrastructure…a military action culture…our veterans are dying while waiting to see a doctor…inadequate wealth distribution…we suppress innovation to benefit special-interest groups…we have disease care, not health care…A CRIPPLED REPUBLIC!
