Inclusion vs Quality of Education

* Post #65 explains in detail  how Inclusion reduces the Teaching Time (TT) in a classroom.

* To compete in a global economy fueled by Super Technology America must have a superbly educated and healthy workforce.

* America’s most important resource is its children; the future workforce.

* To create a superbly educated child you must have a superb Education System; one that maximizes Teaching Time.

* Every child should have access to a classroom that maximizes Teaching Time.

* If we want to give Special-Needs students access to a superb education, that they have a right to, we need to use the Special Olympics approach  as our benchmark for success.

* The goal of the Special Olympics is to reach out to the nearly 200 million people in the world with intellectual disabilities (i.e., Special- Needs).

* Special education programs, use of appropriate equipment, training, and coaching is a full-time effort in environments dedicated to maximizing Teaching Time!

* Inclusion into regular classrooms does not provide the Quality of Education the Special-Needs, and Non-Special-Needs, students have a right to.
